Airplanes go Zooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmm!!!

It's that time of year again, new year, and another round of college. Online schmon-line, doesn't matter. The 2 AM study sessions of teaching yourself statistics the day before an exam are about to happen!

I'm only slightly joking, because there are several people who by god's given grace can do it and more power to them! Then there is your occasional genius who gets everything and you try to team up with them only too realize that they can't explain it in laments terms. So instead you find a group of people who are relatively decent and you improve together. At least that's the best way I've found success.

But upon arriving with a day to move rooms and scramble across campus and storage to find my stuff while avoiding as many people as possible I am reminded yet again one of the tenants of the Academy. The glorious blessing when at least one elevator works in the entire complex. the elevators in the Fairchild? Works all year around with no problems. If there ever was one none of the students would ever notice. Instructors don't use it. I swear they don't, most take the stairs from the ground level parking garage and WALK up those six flights of stairs everyday. Let me tell you, because of those stairs, ain't nobody skipping leg day! I've seen people with crutches and scooters take the stairs and students helping to get their buddy to class on time with a 7 min passing period. Different breed of humans, all I gotta say.

Now though, the seven minute passing period is still a struggle to make because of connectivity issues and bandwidth. Understandable when you've got over 4,000 kidults trying to simply join teams calls at the same time. I've found my saving grace to be log in five minutes early if you want to be guaranteed a spot to get IP (instructor prerogative) points. they can make or break your grade if you're on the edge of failing. Sooo..... I NEED all I can get :')

Regardless, hear me out....Saturday school.

First week back, we had it! Through all the fuss of technological issues both instructors and students sat at their desks on Saturday and were present. If you were lucky you got a Major who hashed it out quickly and gave you free time back. Others used every single minute and still went over! However, for my first Saturday school honestly taking a weekend to knockout admin stuff even though I would have much rather been at my computer watching the next episode of Sundai Love's vlog series it wasn't a bad idea. (I just pushed it off til Sunday).

The end finale though, was that most of us spent Sunday doing homework, and getting organized rather than getting to pause and reflect. But it's okay, the military life will say "you'll get DDT later" (Directed Development Time).

I'm just poking a little fun to lighten the mood. We'll see how next week goes where you're girl starts combatives on her very own B-Day! But... let me just say my school is better, cause who else's gets to see a V-22 Osprey land on campus in the snow!

SHE IS GLORIOUS!
