IHOP, Wallie-World (aka: the cadet attraction), Ziggi's Coffee
Date: Honestly...I don't remember it was way back in the day...
Cafe: Ziggi's Coffee

Consistency, my largest struggle with this blog is that, everyone says that's the key. But hey, I'm 22 and young, and honestly may not have really found my niche. The biggest challenge is that I want to do everything! I want to to try everything! Even if it is a big major flop!
I won't know unless I try and who knows I'll learn a bit more about myself along the way too.
However, now that this little splurge of an introduction is out of the way... let's get onto the actual content of this blog.
Mixing things up is good, it breaks away from the average habitual nature we like to lock ourselves into. It creates a small bit of spontaneousness in our everyday lives. For me, that's coffee. You know I can't say no to sweet cup of good old joe with a butt load of milk and creamer.
The first time I went to this place was on a whim with my battle buddy and friend Abby, we had gotten stir crazy again. I mean we get stir crazy every damn week at this place seeing the same four walls of our room and same volleyball courts down in the quad (our zoo term for courtyard) don't ask me why we call it that we have our traditions. Such as calling the average hoo-ah cadet a NARP. But back in the day according to my instructor they termed it "Cadet at large" almost as if you were a prison escapee!
Cadets At Large :D Uh-OH... They Found Food!

Well we were escaping from that hooligan place, if at least for a few hours to at least breathe. With errands to run and hungry for brunch our not-so-typical college adventure started with a trip to IHOP.
Yet right around the corner was Wallie-World/Walmart/ or as I call it the Cadet Tourist Attraction. There has not been a time where I have not run into someone I know there and the trip will go from a 10 min errand run to a 45 min conversation in the cold food section of catching up and debating which eggs are worth getting, and questioning if the groceries will all fit in the mini fridge...or the main question being, do I have enough to feed myself for a week to avoid Mitches dinners.
Abby will guaranteed always take you to the garden section and the clearance section first, balling on a cadet budget is vital. You have to find the deals. But luckily we were able to stave off the want to get the crock pot and pressure cooker this round.
Abby is one who is willing to deal with my absolute NEED for caffeine. Right off of Briargate Blvd, is you typical coffee shop; Ziggi's Coffee, plus a drive through if you're in a hurry. Inside its not too much to look at but covered in windows the sunlight brightens the room, and it wasn't packed at all.

But my mistake was ordering the usual Vanilla Latte. Mistake?! How could ordering a coffee be a mistake?! Blasphemy! Well, for those who don't know, mangos are also my favorite fruit....and Abby's mango smoothie had me sold. The coffee was average. But the mango smoothie, I'm not sure if it was the whipped cream or the flavoring of the mango juice. That's the only reason I go now!
I have yet to try the other smoothies, but you betcha I will and will update this short little post.
"Coffee First...schemes later!"
